WELCOME TO THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR! 

Dear Oceano Students and Families,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Joshua Herrera, and I'm the proud principal of Oceano Elementary School. This marks my third year at Oceano, and my thirteenth year leading amazing schools.

This year, we're going to travel the world as we "Fly Toward A First Class Education!" Our student pilots will get fantastic lessons in the classroom, along with exciting activities to learn more about different countries, cultures, and traditions.

We have many events and opportunities planned for the year as students use their "passports" to travel and visit exciting places like France, Hawaii, Mexico, and Brazil.
