Parents, now that we have settled into the school year, I wanted to send a few reminders about the Bright Futures after school program. Please review and let me know if you have any questions.
ALL STUDENTS ATTENDING BRIGHT FUTURES ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND DAILY until HALF the length of the program.
Bright Futures Daily Schedule:
All students enrolled in the Bright Futures after school program will be enrolled in classes that are voted on by all students every ten to twelve weeks with a total of four sessions. To view the schedule please stop by room 21.
NO BRIGHT FUTURES: December 16th, February 3rd, and June 9th. Please plan for other after school arrangements on these dates.

After school program: Open 1:45pm-6:20pm (excused early release begins at 4:50pm for 1st-6th grade and 3:15pm for TK/K)
For safety reasons, all students must be signed in and out each day by an authorized adult. Students allowed to walk or bike home must have authorization in writing prior to the date walking or biking home. Students may also be signed released early by an authorized adult (18 years of age or older), for the following approved conditions: attending a parallel program (sports, music, etc. of the students), family emergency (funerals and court appearances), medical appointment (of the students), and medical emergency (of the students), these should not be used more than three per week. Early release not covered by the policy or lack of same-day notification to the Bright Futures staff will be considered unexcused absences from the program. THREE UNEXCUSED ABSENCES FROM THE BRIGHT FUTURES PROGRAM MAY CAUSE STUDENT/S TO BE DROPPED FROM THE PROGRAM. If you are dropped you may no longer attend Bright Futures until the following school year. These policies are put into place to preserve the function of the grant and to maximize the learning experience.
6th graders only may sign themselves out if initialed by the parent on their registration packet.Bright Futures Daily Schedule:

3:20pm-3:50pm –Supper
3:50pm-4:40pm – Session One
4:40pm-5:30pm- Session Two
5:30pm-6:20pm – Power Hour (Homework Hour)

Los estudiantes a los que se les permite caminar o andar en bicicleta a casa deben tener una autorización por escrito antes de la fecha en que caminan o andan en bicicleta a casa. Los estudiantes también pueden firmar la salida anticipada de un adulto autorizado (mayor de 18 años), por las siguientes condiciones aprobadas: asistir a un programa paralelo (deportes, música, etc. de los estudiantes), emergencia familiar (funerales y comparecencias ante el tribunal) , cita médica (de los estudiantes), y emergencia médica (de los estudiantes), estos no deben usarse más de tres por semana. La salida anticipada no cubierta por la política o la falta de notificación el mismo día al personal de Bright Futures se considerarán ausencias injustificadas del programa. TRES AUSENCIAS INJUSTIFICADAS DEL PROGRAMA BRIGHT FUTURES PUEDEN CAUSAR QUE EL ESTUDIANTE(S) SEA BAJADO DEL PROGRAMA. Si lo dan de baja, ya no podrá asistir a Bright Futures hasta el siguiente año escolar. Estas políticas se implementan para preservar la función de la subvención y maximizar la experiencia de aprendizaje.
Los estudiantes de sexto grado solo pueden firmar la salida si los padres tienen sus iniciales en su paquete de inscripción.Horario diario de Bright Futures:
