Get to Know Your Teacher

Welcome to the 2020–2021 school year at Oceano! It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as your fifth grade teacher. To become better acquainted, I’d like to share a few things about myself. I’m from the Central Coast, born and raised here.  This is my 29th year teaching. I graduated from CSU Fresno in 1991. I am married and have two children who are in college. I love reading, baking, and creating art. I've  previously taught kindergarten through ninth grade in special education, and K-6 in reading intervention. This is my second year teaching fifth grade and I'm more excited than ever!

I’m an animal lover and an art enthusiast, but most of all, I’m a teacher.  I’m overjoyed to share my passion for learning with the young minds of the future!

School Supplies:

Students will be provided with all supplies this year! Our class pick-up time is Friday, August 14th from 3:00-4:00PM in the front of the school.
